Disney English, plans to open 140 more children schools worldwide within 4 years.

Two years after the opening of its first children school in Shanghai, Disney English plans to expand its kid-friendly classrooms around the world including Brazil. The company had just opened its eleventh children school in Beijing late last year. The program caters students ages 2 to 12 and incorporates animated Disney characters with interactive games, role-play, with relevant vocabulary, sentence patterns with the goal toward engaging each student with the English language.
The curriculum is developed in the US and taught by native speaking English trainers and local bilingual teaching assistants. All Disney English foreign trainers are TEFL-C (Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Children) qualified and carefully selected by Disney in the US. Disney is the only company that require this.
The program plans to teach English to 150,000 children every year by 2105.

In January 2011, a TBI representative for corporate affairs had met with Dr. Angelita T. Pacleb, the president of Tesol Philippines Inc. in Baguio City, Philippines to sign a partnership agreement. Tesol Philippines has expressed its desire to join TBI as a TESOL course provider in Manila. Based on the technical assessment conducted by TBI, Tesol Philippines Inc. has surpassed all areas of inspection process including facility, training methodologies, and curriculum based on TBI's stringent curriculum guidelines and standards.
The TBI official visit to the Philippines was part of the global programs of the organization to expand its TESOL initiatives in the Southeast Asian region. Tesol Philippines, Inc. is the leading provider of US-approved TESOL certificate programs in the northern Philippines with its training arm, Philippine International Communicators (PICTDC).
